Scarab Darkroom is a fast and easy to use digital camera raw file converter for Windows. It supports most raw format capable cameras from Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Samsung, and Sony.

Scarab Darkroom Lite (v2.13)

Note: the free version lacks noise filtering, 16 bit output, CA correction, and has less color controls. It also doesn't have the newer camera models.

- Fixed a crash bug that occurred when trying to browse raw files, which were located in the root folder of a drive

- Fixed the problem of the user interface getting messed up when making the window full-screen right after starting the application

- Fixed a problem with the default sharpening value. It should really be 0.2 now and not do strange things.

- Fixed a bug with reset and reapply settings. The reset settings button didn't save the current settings the second time it was pressed during the adjustment of an image.

- Much better colours. (eg. no more grayish skin tones)
- Improved highlight recovery. (but still produces strange colours with a few images)
- Will now run without thumbnail updating if the FBO OpenGL extension isn't present instead of quiting.
- Fixed a potential crash bug with the Sony raw loading code.
- Busy cursor set while saving is in progress.
- Switching to another image extremely quickly during saving could result in a black saved image. Fixed.
- Default sharpening amount slightly lowered.
